Accessibility

We are continually working on the NCC website to ensure that it is accessible to everyone, regardless of the sort of browser you use to view the site and devices you use to control your computer. If you have any problems accessing the site, or would like to suggest ways of improving access, please contact webster@ncc.co.uk.

Navigation

The drop-down menu at the top of each page can be accessed using your keyboard, just tab between the headings and use the up and down arrow keys to move through each menu.

Skip Navigation

If you are using a speech browser, or text browser, you will notice a Skip Navigation link at the top of the page - this takes you past the main menu and straight into the main content of the page.

Site Map

Each page contains a link to the site map, which gives you an overview of the site. This is located in the top right hand corner of each page.

Web Standards

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international consortium where Member organisations, full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards. The pages on this site comply with the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to at least Level 1 (A) and in the majority of checkpoints comply with Level 3 (AAA).

We are in the process of validating to HTML 4.01 Transitional with the W3C's Web Mark-up Validation Service and the stylesheet has been assessed with the W3C CSS Validation Service.

Valid HTML 4.01!. Valid CSS!
