The Path to Accreditation

Why Accreditation by NCC?

The National Computing Centre is the UK’s leading cross-sector Membership organisation for IT decision makers and has a 46-year track record in promoting the effective use of IT. Throughout this period we have developed, published and promoted best practice and standards, and certified thousands of individuals and organisations; we are independent, impartial, owned by and run for the benefit of our Members.

The ITDA is based on an Accreditation Framework that has been developed by NCC and has received £2.3 million of public funding. The NCC’s member community has contributed and helped shape the ITDA to ensure that it is relevant to the needs of IT decision makers.
